double exposure portraits

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Stunning, spectacular double exposure portraits from Dan Mountford. These were created in camera, not with photoshop overlays. The color was adjusted in Photoshop and vectors added in Illustrator. I’m in awe. View more of his work here.

levitating girl

Monday, August 22nd, 2011

I’m completely mesmerized by these magical photographs from Tokyo teenager Natsumi Hayashi. She takes photographs of herself jumping, until she gets a perfectly clear shot that looks like she’s levitating. It makes the everyday look not so boring.

p.s. A little more about my Paris trip tomorrow.

Peru (part 1: Cusco)

Monday, November 8th, 2010

I’m sure you’ve all been wondering where I have been. I recently went on vacation to Peru starting in the city of Cusco and then doing a 5 day Salkantay hike to Machu Picchu. It was an amazing adventure. Here are some of my favorite pictures from walking around the city of Cusco. The city was so rich with bright colors, beautiful architecture and great hand drawn type. More pictures from my trip to come soon.
