double exposure portraits

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Stunning, spectacular double exposure portraits from Dan Mountford. These were created in camera, not with photoshop overlays. The color was adjusted in Photoshop and vectors added in Illustrator. I’m in awe. View more of his work here.

The newest addition to the Gee Whiskers series—a cat-a-lope holiday card. It’s the puurrrrfect way to say happy holidays. These cards are screenprinted with three colors on Paper Source Eco White paper and blank on the inside. (Includes a French Paper kraft envelope.) Available for purchase in my shop individually or in a 5 pack.

scenes from the weekend: the type truck at baltimore print studios

Monday, November 7th, 2011

Yesterday I took a trip to Baltimore to check out the type truck at Baltimore Print Studios. The type truck is completely adorable and frankly I’m a little jealous of Kyle. She gets to travel and print—a perfect combination if you ask me. First step was screenprinting a minty layer inside Baltimore Print Studios. Once that dried I letterpressed the hot pink type inside the type truck. See the final product in the second picture below. A beautiful print to remember the experience, mine’s already hanging on the fridge.
