A beautiful series by Dutch designer Louis Reith. Check out his entire portfolio here. I wouldn’t mind having the framed piece (shown below) for my house.

The Sarah Project brings you Miss Cleo this week! She is adorned with a 24K paper clip/ribbon necklace and paper cobra headdress. She spends her time striking poses, eating brains and fanning herself with gold leaves…walk like an egyptian.
I went blonde on Friday. And to be completely honest, it’s the most drastic thing I’ve ever done to my hair, (and I’ve done tons of drastic things.) I’m slowly getting used…but it’s still a little weird seeing my reflection. I guess I’ll soon find out if blondes really do have more fun.
What do you guys think?
A new twist on the traditional soccer ball by Klas Ernflo. View all color and pattern options here. My favorite is the black and white plaid, shown above.
For this week’s edition of The Sarah Project I was transformed into a construction worker complete with a paper bag toolbelt, hard hat and beer gut (no offense intended for you fit construction workers). Not much of a story here, just a silly outfit.
Enjoy!
My weekend was stuffed with World Cup festivities. On Saturday I was decked out in USA gear from head to toe including my red, white and blue fingernails. I headed to Dupont Circle for an outdoor showing of the USA vs. England game which ended up being complete chaos and I couldn’t even see the screen. So mid-game I had to change locations, but was still able to catch the USA goal. It was amazing being amongst so many soccer/USA fans—great energy. I’m looking forward to the rest of the tournament. Go U-S-A!
Be sure to check out some great artwork created for the World Cup by W+K for ESPN and Nike.
I’m officially declaring Wednesday “The Sarah Project” day, well at least here on fancy seeing you here. Each week I’ll share my latest and greatest shoots and any other stories that go along with them. This week’s feature is Indiana Hanks where I come across a saber tooth tiger that attacks me, but in the end we become best friends.
p.s. Be sure to check out ZonaFoto‘s beautiful Jersey Shore polaroid series here.
This weekend I saw a great display of custom vans in the Vans store featuring artist Tony Price. I had ordered a custom pair of lucha vans (shown above) from Tony a little over a year ago. It was a simple process; I gave him the lucha concept and some image references and let him run from there. My favorite part of the final product is the eyes on the back side of the shoes. AND let me just say that the person that I gifted these rad shoes to was in love with them. Tony has a great illustration style and was a real pleasure to work with.
Check out more of Tony’s custom shoe work here and order your very own pair here.
Other custom shoe artists featured: Kyozo Kicks, timrobot & TKDeal

Yep that’s little me. Having my first art sale at 4 years old. Story goes that a Picasso painting sold for $4 million and I immediately decided that I wanted and could make money from my artwork. So low and behold I immediately set up a little stand in front of my house. I must say I was quite resourceful for a 4 yr old. To this day I’m still selling my artwork. So I guess I am saying that I was made for this. Art is my life. Period. End of story.
p.s. Thanks for all the fabulous suggestions for The Sarah Project. I’ll be posting new images real soon.
This is a small selection of images from a silly project i’ve been doing at work; The Sarah Project. Every day at around 3 i have a mini photoshoot at my desk using props and stuff that i’ve gathered from around the office. I’m hoping to keep this up for a year and maybe even start a website for it. It’s actually quite amusing and fun, although some might think I’m a total nut. I think one of my favorite and most innovative uses of a prop is the poster tube turned into a peg arm for my pirate series. FYI, I’m taking character requests if you have any suggestions.
